This is a review of a short film called The Guest. While looking into short film reviews I've found that when describing the films, they use lots of words like "ambitious" "mystifying" "surreal" "thought-provoking". These are used to draw the audience into the film. These words are exaggerating what the film is like to make it sound appealing to the audience. Film reviews also include the names of the characters as well as a summary of the plot and why they like the film themselves. This review was found on a website that is especially for short films. This means that the people reading the review understand the concepts used in short films and the language used in the review is directed at them.
